StreamStitch

Inline stitching under economical conditions has been a long-held wish of forward-thinking newspaper publishers. Now, StreamStitch enables you to offer the market semi-commercials in top quality from a single source. At the same time, you achieve even wider utilisation of your production capacity. In the inserting drum, contents produced on newsprint are merged with a cover on coated stock and stitched by StreamStitch inline. The three-side trim then gives a further boost to the level of enhancement. StreamStitch is integrated into the conveyor system as an independent component for switching in and out of the product flow. It can also be used as an alternative to a stitching unit on the press.
StreamStitch is based on tried-and-tested technology that’s been used in gatherer-stitcher drums for many years. Existing installations are quick and easy to retrofit with this inline system.
