Adhesive and sealant manufacturer relies on innovative overhead conveyor technology Skyfall

Soudal is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sealants, adhesives, construction and fitting foams, building protective agents and sealing strips. The rapidly expanding company offers solutions for numerous requirements in the construction and industrial sectors based on silicone, acrylate, hybrid polymer, polyurethane and bitumen. Headquarters for this up-and-coming construction chemicals specialist is Turnhout in Belgium, where a pilot plant using the innovative overhead conveyor technology from the company based in Switzerland’s Zürcher Oberland has been in operation since April 2014. And this with clearly measurable success: aided by the Skyfall system’s flexible buffer functions, Soudal could immediately double its production output of acrylic joint compounds and sealants. Two more lines have been added since autumn 2016.
