The sun is shining for FERAG

The 2,632 solar modules are deliberately manufactured in Germany rather than in China by the Swiss company Meyer Burger Technology Ltd and generate an average of 1,100,000 kilowatt hours of solar electricity per year. This output covers around 40 % of the FERAG site's own needs in Hinwil and corresponds to the average annual consumption of 211 households in Switzerland. 

FERAG AG is one of the most innovative Swiss companies. It is therefore not surprising that the company not only invests in research and development for customers and markets, but also generally in environmentally friendly, future-oriented solutions. With the commissioning of the solar plant, FERAG achieves more independence from the electricity market. In addition, the solution is a low-maintenance and, above all, profitable source of energy and a further step in the consistent implementation of the sustainability goals to which the company is committed.
