Ferag presents "Denisort" at the trade fair in Chicago
The innovative "Denisort" tilt-tray sorter is presented live to the ProMAT audience
At its 1000 sq ft Promat booth (S 4541) in Chicago this year, Ferag, known for innovative conveying and sorting solutions in intralogistics, will be showing its highly flexible "Denisort" tilt-tray sorter to trade visitors. It combines conveying, picking and sorting in a seamless and scalable system and can be used universally for the most versatile intralogistics processes. Its robust and proven design goes hand in hand with high-precision Swiss technology.
The basis for "Denisort" is a carrier chain mounted on low-friction rollers, which runs energy-efficiently and quietly in a steel profile. The system thus enables individual solutions with completely free routing in all dimensions, even across several levels.
Continuous material flow over multiple levels
"The whole thing runs smoothly even in the third dimension," says Barry Evans, Senior Vice President Sales (United States) at Ferag and himself a contact person at the Ferag booth at ProMat in Chicago. As a result, "Denisort" not only allows for a continuous material flow across multiple levels, but also meets all intralogistics requirements in the area of e-commerce, he adds. "Different tray sizes, which can even be lined up in a colorful mix, ensure maximum flexibility," Barry Evans continued. This allows products of a wide range of sizes to be processed at high throughput rates. The tilting trays, which can be opened on both sides as required, guarantee safe and gentle handling of the products to be conveyed. Even delicate products such as medicine vials or electronic components can be handled effortlessly and safely. Barry Evans: "In addition, this system is the ideal solution for handling residual mail”.
Space-saving in the third dimension
Ferag will also be talking about its "Skyfall" at ProMat. This innovation from the Swiss company combines conveying, buffering, sorting, consolidation and processing operations in a single system. It is based on carriers and trolleys, combined with application-specific load carriers, using gravity. The innovative "Skyfall" system can be used in the third dimension to save space, freeing up valuable floor space for additional use. Thanks to a wide range of functional accessories, the system can be used universally and can be expanded at any time to include additional functions and capacities.
ProMat most important intralogistics trade fair on the American continent
Ferag has been an exhibitor at ProMat in Chicago for many years. "The trade fair is an extremely important platform for us," says Barry Evans, "as we can meet numerous potential, but also existing customers here for a face-to-face meeting!" Against this background, Ferag's management speaks of "the most important intralogistics trade fair on the American continent" and a "must" for the Swiss family-owned company.
